About the house

We started with one walking tour, and a stubborn idea about hospitality.

Javier González
Origin

Marbella, 2016. One van, one guide, one rule.

Javier had been guiding for a decade when he realised the thing clients actually paid for — the thing they sent postcards about — was never in the brochure. It was the long lunch the guide had arranged with a cousin. The bodega owner who opened on a Tuesday.

So he built a company that sold those things directly. No coaches. No scripts. No hidden commissions. A small team, a vetted network, and the willingness to say no to most of it.

Eleven years later, we’re still saying no to most of it.

How we work

Four rules we genuinely follow.

01

The guide is the product.

We do not subcontract the most important person in the day. If we can’t send someone we’d send our own mother with, we don’t send anyone.

02

Fewer experiences, run properly.

We run a handful of core itineraries. We turn down dozens of requests a month that don’t fit them, or that we can’t execute to our standard.

03

Logistics invisible. Stories visible.

If you noticed the transfer, the restaurant booking, or the museum ticket — we failed. You should only remember the vineyard, the host, the sunset.

04

Our agencies come first.

95% of our work is B2B. We treat our agency partners like family — fast answers, no surprises, commissions paid on time.

The team

Small on purpose. Deep on purpose.

Beyond the core team, we work with a hand-picked network of official freelance guides across Andalusia — every one licensed by the Junta, every one chosen the way we choose a bodega: slowly, and only after a long lunch.
